At NBRS Kids

We are here to guide children in learning to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. We believe that our children are just as much disciples of Jesus as you and I are.

NBRS Kids is committed to the entire family—of all ages—practicing the way of Jesus together. Our heart is for children to know and love Jesus through relationships, the Scriptures, and practicing a prayer-led life. We aren’t babysitting; we are building disciples.

Our Sunday Rhythm

All children join their families in musical worship in the main gathering space each Sunday. Children are then dismissed during Passing the Peace to head to NBRS Kids classrooms.

Nursery aged families walk their children to the classroom and other ages line up outside the gathering space. This shared rhythm allows our children to worship alongside the broader church community and then gather in age-appropriate spaces for teaching, play, and formation.

The only age group who do not receive a snack is nursery age, please make sure to feed them before!

Are you interested in serving Neighbors Kids or Youth?

Our team is committed to creating a consistent, welcoming, and safe environment where children can grow in their love for Jesus and one another.

Age Groups We Serve

We currently serve children across these age groups:

Nursery (Ages 1–2) – A safe, nurturing environment focused on care, play, and early spiritual formation.

Toddlers (Ages 3–5) – Engaging Bible stories, hands-on activities, and play designed for curious, growing learners.

Older Kids (Ages 6–9) – Scripture-centered teaching, discussion, creative response, and community-building play.

Youth (Ages 9-12) - See below

Note: We ask that all parents pick up their children after the gathering concludes.

NBRS Youth (Ages 9-12)

NBRS Youth is an intentional community for preteens who are beginning to wake up to deeper questions — about God, friendship, courage, and who they are becoming. We want to help them see that life with Jesus is not a Sunday idea, but a living friendship that shapes everything.

Twice a month on Thursday evenings, we gather in homes with steady, trusted leaders. We share a meal around a table, open the Scriptures together, ask honest questions, and practice noticing where Jesus meets us in ordinary life —at school, on teams, in friendships, and in the quiet of our own thoughts.

On Sundays, after worship, our youth meet at the picnic tables with parents nearby. We continue the conversation, not as a separate silo, but as families learning to follow Jesus side by side. Faith is not outsourced; it is shared.

Our hope is simple and steady: to form young people who recognize the voice of Jesus, love His Church, and begin—slowly and joyfully—to walk in His way.
